Dr. Brant Peppley is an internationally recognized leader bringing almost 30 years of dedication to the research & development of fuel cells and fuel cell systems. Awarded the Canada Research Chair in Fuel Cells at Queen’s University in 2007, Dr. Peppley conceived and launched the Queen’s-RMC Fuel Cell Research Centre, an integral constituent in Ontario’s Fuel Cell Research and Innovation Network.
Numerous organizations have sought out and appointed Dr. Peppley as a technical authority. These include Department of National Defence (Scientific Authority on Electrochemical Power Source contracts), Ministry of Research and Innovation’s Ontario Research Fund Advisory Board (clean energy technologies expert), NRC Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation’s Technical Advisory Committee, and most recently for the South African HySA Centre of Competence in Fuel Cell Systems. Always keen to advance knowledge-sharing in global forums, Dr. Peppley was scientific co-chair for the 2012 World Hydrogen Energy Conference and the 2011 and 2013 Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Conference.
In 2001, Dr. Peppley launched Fuel Cell Intelligence, Ltd., (FCIntell) to provide advisory services to a broad range of fuel cell product stakeholders. Through FCIntell and his responsibilities at Queen’s University, Dr. Peppley has an extensive record of collaborative projects with various industry segments. With his extensive network of contacts and associates, Dr. Peppley brings the right team to every project.
